Welcome to ‘Live from the CodeBar’, recorded from the code themed bar of Fenwood Manor.  On this show we will talk about the treasure of King John that was lost in the Kings Lynn area of England that has yet to be found.  To discuss King John we have to of course talk about his dramatic rise to the throne and of course the Magna Carta.

The Magna Carta Cocktail

This shows CodeBar cocktail is borrowed from the website www.cocktails and shots.com the Magna Carta Cocktail represents the June 15, 1215 date of when the Magna Carta was agreed on by King John and the barons, I could not come up with a better cocktail then what they created this will be placed on the CodeBar menu so enjoy.

Ingredients

1oz Triple Sec

2oz Tequila (your choice, the CodeBar uses Patron)

Top with champagne

Recipe

Start by rubbing the rim of the glass with lime juice and dip the glass rim into the sugar.  Stir in the Tequila and Triple Sec over ice in a separate mix glass, then strain into prepared glass.  Top with the champagne and a lime wheel on the glass edge.
